St. Helena of the True Cross is a parish of the Community Catholic Church of Canada. We do not have a church building, as we are a mission church, operating in and around Ajax, Ontario.

St. Helena of the True Cross is a church for people who have no church to call their own — for example, divorced and remarried couples who are denied the sacraments of  their church, single parents who feel uncomfortable having their child baptized at a church they once belonged to.

The Community Catholic Church of Canada was established in 1960 as the Old Catholic Church of Canada. Our roots come from  the Old Catholic tradition and we have valid orders, seven sacraments, the Real Presence in the Eucharist and apostolic succession (our Bishops have a common succession to all but two Popes of Rome)

Rev Shari Grenier is available for weddings, baptisms, funerals and more.  We remember Jesus’ admonishment not to judge, and we are inclusive to all.

ST HELENA OF THE TRUE CROSS, IN CONJUNCTION WITH PROVERBS 31 LIFE MINISTRIES, WILL BE UNDERTAKING SEVERAL COMMUNITY PROJECTS IN THE DURHAM REGION:

BABY IT’S COLD OUTSIDE: Please donate coats and sweaters that still have warmth in them to be distributed to those who need them.

SHARE THE WORD: We are collecting used Bibles to be shared with those with whom we can share the Scriptures.

AND MORE PROJECTS TO COME!
